Aeroganella Infection

Description:

Caused by gram-negative bacteria from the genus aeroganella. They are native to the Europan biosphere. Aeroganella infections are fairly uncommon (2 in 17 cases).

Pus is usually greenish in presentation.

Caused By:

• Infected wounds that develop into a limb infection

Effects:

• Blood infection (>50%)
• Inflammation (>0%)
• Purulent drainage (>25% with wound)
• Abscess (>25% without wound)
• Pneumonia (Blood infection >0%)

Treatments:

Susceptible to:

• Gentamicin (95% effective)
• Ceftazidime (75% effective)
• Co trimoxazole (60% effective)
• Vancomycin (50% effective)
• Primaxin (50% effective)
• Augmentin (25% effective)
• Unasyn (20% effective)
