Purulent drainage

Description:

The wound is leaking pus, an obvious sign of an infection. Most infections will show up as yellow, but Pseudomonas infection and Aeroganella infection will have green pus.

Caused By:

• Prerequisites:
  • Limb has an infection of at least 25% progress.
  • Limb has a wound, burn, or suture.
• An Abscess that drains when there is a wound on the limb.

Effects:

• Visible leaking of pus (Yellow or Green).
• Can be used to collect a pus sample for diagnosis.

Treatments:

• Use a Sampler tool with a Culture tube to collect a pus sample for analysis.
• Treat the underlying infection.
